This week is a great time to visit Palm Beach, Florida. It's getting cold up north so plan a trip to Palm Beach, your favorite golf and beach destination in the sun. There are many exciting events planned for the week and here are a few that you might find interesting.

Start your week with Trivia Night on Tuesday, October 20 at World of Beer on Clematis Street. Enjoy your favorite beverage while testing your trivia knowledge with your friends. There have a wide selection of brews so please arrive thirsty! On Wednesday, October 21, spend the evening at the upscale Blue Martini at CityPlace for Ladies Night Out where ladies receive free admission and half price drinks. Have a signature martini while dancing to live music. For a change of pace, stop by Tin Fish Clematis for Jazz with Donna Singer.

On Thursday, October 22, take the Palm Beach Food Tour in the afternoon where you can sample food and drink from their many eclectic restaurants while learning some history and fun facts. Then in the evening, drop into Palm Beach Improv for some laughs with comedian Lachlan Patterson. You never know who might show up at the Improv! If your in for a good scare, you can also make plans to stop by Fright Nights! at the South Florida Fairgrounds weekends until the end of the month. They have four new haunts this year and three scare zones so take a deep breath and enjoy the ride. In the evening take a stroll through Art in the Park at the Norton Museum of Art. They have unique exhibits, films, music, great food and, of course, the latest in art from some of the most talented people on the east coast.

One of the hottest tickets in town is for the "So You Think You Can Dance" live tour which will be at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts on Friday, October 23 at 8pm. This Emmy Award winning show in their 12th season brings its ten finalists to perform their best routines. Don't miss this opportunity to see your favorite dancers from the show. On Saturday, October 24, be there for the Hometown Fall Festival going on all day starting at 8am. at the Good Shepherd United Methodist Church. There are many fun events planned including a pumpkin patch, games, crafts, food and live entertainment. That same evening at 7:30pm, country music star Jason Aldean will be appearing at the Perfect Vodka Amphitheater on the South Florida Fairgrounds. Since 2005 Aldean has been entertaining audiences with hits like, "My Kinda Party" and "Dirt Road Anthem". Plan to see him in the Palm Beach area for this special stop on his nationwide tour.
