Maintenance, Utility and Permit Closures: Restriction: Paving operations will begin on Friday, November 14 and continue for approximately one week,
weather permitting. Travel lanes will be closed in both directions on Gateway Boulevard from the I-95
interchange to Congress Avenue in Boynton Beach, 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. Monday through Friday until paving is Restriction: Westbound Southern Boulevard (SR 80) will be closed to all traffic between Kelly Way and Sansbury’s Way from 7 p.m., Monday, November 17 until 6 a.m. Tuesday, November 18 to install a new water main connection for the Shops at Southern Palms. During this closure westbound motorists will be rerouted onto one eastbound lane through the work zone. Motorists should anticipate delays. FPL will be moving major equipment from the Port of Palm Beach to the site of a new power plant facility
located off S.R. 80 / Southern Boulevard, just west of Seminole Pratt Whitney Road from 9 p.m. Monday,
November 17 until Tuesday, November 18 and again from 9 p.m. Monday, November 24 until Tuesday,
November 25. Motorist may encounter delays along the designated route: S.R. 710 from the Port of Palm Beach
west to Northlake Boulevard; Northlake Boulevard west to Seminole Pratt Whitney Road; south to S.R. 80 /
Southern Boulevard; and west two miles to the entrance into the WCEC plant. For further information about Restriction: Inside travel lanes will be closed in various locations on U.S. 441 from Old Hammock Way to Southern Boulevard for landscape installation. The Village of Royal Palm Beach is performing this work. Lane closures will occur between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., Monday through Saturday through early December,
