Taking place at the Seabreeze Amphitheatre, this year's festival brings to life one of the Bard's most famous plays, Hamlet. There are always a variety of events going on in Palm Beach, Florida. Recently one of the biggest national sports events every year was held in the NFL draft. The University of Miami Hurricanes have a great tradition of putting a large amount of talent in the NFL draft every year. This year's draft was no different as the Miami Hurricanes had several players drafted. Flagler Bridge Replacement The $94.2 million Flagler Memorial Bridge Replacement is expected to be completed in late 2016. The existing bridge will be replaced by a brand new bascule bridge, meaning that it will be a drawbridge, a moveable bridge with a counterweight that balances a span throughout its upward swing in order to provide clearance for boat traffic. The bridge will connect Palm Beach to West Palm Beach spanning over the Intracoastal Waterway and the Lake Worth Lagoon. Lucky Man Survives Multiple Shark Bites An unidentified man, believed to be in his 50s or 60s, was spear fishing for Cobia about three miles off the Palm Beach County coast on Friday, April 3, when he was bitten on the upper torso, neck and shoulder. He had numerous gashes that looked like a set of sharp knives had come down on him. Those injuries, that would most likely require approximately 200 stitches, had to have been caused by a large shark, perhaps a bull shark, which is the world’s most dangerous of the species.
