Construction of this 1.35 mile project from Military Trail to just west of Congress Ave., on the Beeline Hwy./ S.R. 710, began on Monday, November 12, 2007. The $19.5 million construction project includes road widening, repaving, pedestrian path upgrades, new street and sidewalk lighting, new signalization, signage and pavement markings, landscaping and irrigation. This project is expecting completion in December 2009 and is being performed by Ranger Construction Industries.

Construction on 1.5 miles of Indiantown Road / SR 706 began on Monday, June, 16 2008 and will last until fall 2009. This project includes milling and resurfacing of the roadway, rebuilding shoulders, upgrading traffic signs and signals, median improvements and landscaping to include irrigation. This $2.4 million project is expecting completion early 2009 and is being performed by Hubbard Construction Company.

Project Description:
U.S. 1/S.R. 5 Drainage Improvement Project
This 0.18 mile drainage improvement project in the City of Palm Beach Gardens will begin after January 5,
2009 (an exact date has not been set). This project includes installing new storm water drainage outside the
roadway, repaving, utility work and the installation of french drainage. The work will begin on S.R. A1A/ PGA
Boulevard and move to U.S. 1/ S.R. 5. This $2.19 million project is being performed by Ranger Construction
Industries and is expected to be complete late October 2009.
