Project Description:

Southern Blvd. (SR80), West of US 441/SR 7 to West of the Florida Turnpike
This project is the last of four major projects to expand Southern Blvd. (SR80) between I-95 and Forest Hill Blvd., beginning just west of US 441/ SR 7 and extending to just west of Florida’s Turnpike. Part of the overall expansion and improvements planned for the corridor, Southern Blvd. (SR 80) will be widened from the existing four lanes to eight lanes with the addition of a new interchange at US 441/SR7. Other improvements provided in this construction contract include the reconstruction of the Benoist Farms Rd. Bridge over the C-51 Canal, new street lighting, signalization, signage, and pavement marking, installation of a new drainage system, and landscaping.
