Glades Road / S.R. 808 "RRR" project
Construction on this 2.9-mile project began January 18, 2010, and will last approximately ten months, weather permitting. Work consists of repaving and restriping Glades Road from just west of the Turnpike to just west of I-95; storm water drainage improvements; new sidewalks and curb ramps to meet current Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards; traffic signal upgrades at St. Andrews Boulevard, new signs; and landscaping, including irrigation. The estimated construction cost is $3.7 million. Work will be performed by Community Asphalt Corporation and is expected to be completed by late November 2010.

Project Description:
Federal Highway / S.R. 5 / U.S. 1 from the C-16 Canal to Hypoluxo Road
Construction on this 2.318-mile resurfacing project began Tuesday, January 19, 2010, in the town of Hypoluxo and the City of Boynton Beach. Work will last approximately eight months, weather permitting, and consists of repaving and restriping the roadway, minor storm water drainage, replacing sidewalks and curb ramps to meet current Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards, new signs, traffic signal upgrades, and guardrail installation. Work is being performed by Community Asphalt Corporation and is expected to be completed in August 2010.

Project Description:
Powerline Road / S.R. 845 from the Broward County Line to Glades Road
Construction on this 3-mile project began Tuesday, May 26, 2009. Work consists of milling and resurfacing, minor widening and reconstruction, signalization, lighting, drainage, bridge replacement, irrigation and landscaping. The project will cost an estimated $9.7 million. The work is being performed by Ranger Construction Industries and is expected to be completed summer 2011.

Project Description:

Construction on this 1.9 mile project will begin Thursday, June 17, 2010. Work consists of repaving and restriping the road; constructing five-foot paved shoulders on both sides of the road, installing a video detection system on existing traffic signals, replacing sidewalks in places; and minor drainage work.
